CaribWorldNews, FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, Fri. May 16, 2008: The count-down has begun to the first 20/20 cricket match in South Florida.

The MAQ T20 International Cricket Tournament ’08 will be held over the Memorial Day Weekend – May 23, 24, 25, 2008 by organization, Cricket Council U.S.A.

The three day international cricket extravaganza is set for Broward County’s brand new $71 million dollar Cricket and Multi-Sport Stadium located in Lauderhill, Florida, the first state of the art Cricket Stadium in the United States.

Cricket fans will see the top present and former 20/20 ALL STAR Cricketers from India, Pakistan, West Indies, the USA and the rest of the World compete.

In addition to Cricket, the MAQ T20 Tournament will present two concerts on Saturday, May 24th and Sunday, May 25th under the theme, “CRICKET NIGHTS TO REMEMBER.”

Some of the world’s leading artists from different cricketing countries will perform including the Caribbean`s own Ky-mani Marley, Adesh Samaroo and Allison Hinds.
