When Vegas starts posting odds on when a VP nominee's name will be withdrawn from consideration, you know that something is brewing.

I said it before and will say it again, once they dig deep enough they will find scandals. And she will be gone and that will be that for McCain. She has taken a lawyer to fight troopergate. The fact that she took a lawyer will be splashed on the front pages tomorrow and the downhill slide will start. It is obvious that she was not vetted properly.

Yes, he can repalce her. McGovern replaced Tom Eagleton with Sargent Shriver in 1972 when it was discovered that Eagleton had taken treatment for depression. But, why replace her? Keep her there and guarantee Obama's election!

it is a poke in the eye of esteemed women as Olympia Snow! they are counting her 8 years as a mayor in a local town with under nine thousand people as executive experience!

Her experience cshould not be trivialized, remember the Reps were hammering Obama on experiene also. They key will be all the investivations not coming up. When you take a virtually unknown, from a out of way place which no one really focuses on, this is the risk you run.

Anyway, let's see how it unfolds, it still early days and remember Obama overcame all the negative things being said about him during the Primaries.

Why would he? To show that he's someone who makes a decision without all the facts before him or as someone who can't stick by a decision??? Hello no - he won't change his mind! He will ride it out and the same people who voted for GB so that they could endure another 4 years of misery will vote for him!

I agree. If he wanted a female to attract the Hillary discontents he could have chosen Snowe as you mentioned, or Whitman, Hutchinson, Rice and a slew of others. He deserves to be left to fry in his own fat.

She is now becoming a distraction for the Republicans. They want the thing to be blown over but it is getting legs and it is likely that a major scandal will result.
