Big difference: A combination photo shows Bosnian Serb wartime leader and indicted war crimes suspect Radovan Karadzic and (R) attending a parliamentary session in 1995

Arrested war crimes fugitive Radovan Karadzic grew a long, white beard to conceal his identity and even managed to practise alternative medicine while in hiding, officials revealed today.

Karadzic - disguised by a mane of white hair and glasses - managed to move freely while living in a new part of Belgrade and working at a private clinic, government official Rasim Ljajic said.

Karadzic, 63, was arrested on Monday night in a Belgrade suburb after a decade on the run, officials said at a news conference this morning.

And now imagine Guyana's equivalent of this era, Ronald Gajraj, is Guyana's Ambassador to India.

Andre and Stalin, both gentlemen you mentioned can not be compared. Gajraj was holding back the PNC terrorists who were killing and rampaging, seem like we have short memory. Green is no comparison at all, what did he do?

Gajraj was working in co with Roger Khan to ensure that the shipments made it to the market without any interruptions. Whoever stood in their way was eliminated including ex-Minister Sat Sawh and 199 more according to the US. Why do you think they revoked his visa?

So all those criminal escapees, kidnappers and the rest of the Buxton possee who gave rise to today's Fineman and his mass murderers were victims? Indeed short memory many of us have, that is how history is rewritten as people forget the dark days.

Extra judicial killing is murder even if you perceive the victims to be criminals. They too are entitled to their day in court and not the brand of justice that was meted out by Khan and Gajraj. These people they were bumping off were not only criminals but anyone who had a personal vendetta against them or who interfered with their drug shipments making it to the market. Among their more famous victims - their former business associate/marketing executive for the white stuff Devendra Persaud, the boxing coach who dissed Khan - Donald Allison, their phantom hitman Axel Williams who knew too much, George Bacchus who squealed on them, Bacchus' brother - mistaken identity, Sat Sawh - revoking the forestry sawmill permit.

Even Rohee was in an apologetic mood recently after acknowledging the wicked ways of his predecessor Ronald Gajraj as Minister of Home Affairs.

No phantoms in crime fight - Rohee

Minister of Home Affairs, Clement Rohee yesterday said that only the Guyana Police Force has the task of dismantling the criminal enterprise and “not any private militias, not any phantom group, not any individual who has personal vendettas, that is an era that is left behind.”

I suppose you have the luxury of taking the higher moral ground at the expense of innocent Guyanese lives. There is no evidence to suggest that Gajaraj was involved in any actions by ex phantoms in the aftermath of the "clean up". When the phantoms decided to go into business for themselves and Roger Khan they were no longer under the jurisdiction of Gajraj. Now you may claim that every criminal should be granted his day in court, tell that the the Lusignan, Bartica and Agricola victims. Its funny how those of us who live "safe" overseas view situations differently. Speak to those who were in Guyana at the time and they all see Gajraj as a hero who brought the country back from a precipice of certain destruction.

Gajraj ordered the police to kill Yohansee Douglas because Yohansee was black and was having an affair with his daughter!

Why was the kidnappers of Brahma living next door to Gajraj?

You're either very naive or part of the PPP propaganda machine which is saddled with the job of rehabilitating the image of PPP scumbags like Gajraj. There is no evidence of Gajraj's involvement with the phantom squad??? Don't make me fall off my chair laughing. Which planet are you living on dude? He was the PPP director of the squad - in constant telephone contact with Axel Williams and Roger Khan. This was documented through telephone records obtained by the bogus commission set up to investigate the Phantom squad. He provided gun licences for the squad as well as the laptop acquired from the Spy Shop for use by Khan. George Bacchus also revealed these details which eventually cost him his life as well as his brother's. He however opened the eyes of everyone (except you) including the U.S. officials in Guyana who subsequently revoked Gajraj's visa. Even Rohee is now admitting that this was a blunder by the PPP after they got caught with their pants down and Gajraj was forcd to resign his job in shame. Gjaraj may be a hero for you and among those in Guyana who still worship the canecutter mentality but when people take the law into their own hands and murder others, sooner or later the society will become lawless and anarchy will reign supreme. Why do you think Rohee wants to wash his hands of the blood left behind from the Phantom era?

Hmm...there's a bit of a diff between this guy and hussain...the latter was hated by MOSt of his people, and it is only the arab concept of honor/dishonor that made many of them POST-OCCUPATION feel sad for him. But the former...many (I can't say most, although one may argue for that) Serbians sided with him...
