In addition we will see the construction of a 4 lane high way on the East Bank of Demerara.

In addition The critical features of economic development at the present time are the maintenance of economic stability, encouraging investment, increasing economic growth, . As a consequence we have registered more advances in the past fifteen years than in the fifty years before that. The establishment of health centres and clinics, the advances in health care, the training of medical personnel, the vast assistance of heroic Cuba, have all improved health conditions to the highest level being enjoyed by Guyanese.

Developments in the distribution of land for housing has continued and the construction of new housing has continued at a brisk pace. Guyana can boast of one of the most advanced housing programme in the world which has not only encompassed new housing but the regularization of squatter settlements thereby saving them from growing into slums. One can rest assured that Guyana's intensified housing programme will feature prominently in the Budget.

The budget will be the start of electioneering for the PPP. It will frive the opposition very crazy. Watchout for TK's comments..

The opposition will criticize the budget but will not tell the Guyanese people what they will do if they win the next election, because they would not know what to do.
