Zimbabwe will print the new 100billion dollar note but it wont be able to cover the cost of living. This is a good lesson of not to run a country.

Those who criticize the Guyana gov't should look at the dire state of affairs in Mugabe's Zimbabwe. A return to wreckless and undemocratic governance in Guyana would only exacerbate our economic difficulties. Mugabe is an obstinate man who has no respect for international law or human rights.

Mugabe is a spent force who doesn't know when to pack it in.
And Billy, it is not bad to compare countries; however, how about comparing Guyana with another country that once sat on the same level two decades ago and now stands heads and shoulders above Guyana. Singapore? |

How about making comparisons of the present vs. that of the past? You guys are blowing things out of proportion when it comes to Guyana's economic and political situation. The Guyanese people living standard has improved despite all the difficulties they face.

The Indian convicts who build Sinapore had to work. They also had skills. The black criminals in Guyana just fight for equal rights.

Two decades ago the only country that could have been equated to Guyana was Haiti, and even to then, in many respects, Guyana was worst of that Haiti. Guyana had the longest period of depression…28 long PNC years. Guyana had the longest “bread lines†in the history of human civilization. |

In Singapore, many actually fight to work in order to make a living. In Guyana, many fight for a living on the backs of those who actually work for a living. |

You cannot compare Guyana to Zimbabwe. Where is the 100billion dollar note in Guyana?

That would have been possible if the PNC was still in office. They made most of the population millionaires during the late eighties. That would have translated to billionaires had they continued to rule Guyana. |

I suffered during the Burnham era. I know what it's like to stand in long lines for hours to obtain a pint of split peas or a pound of flour. Our people no longer have to suffer they way did during the terrible years of the PNC. Thank god the PNC is out office. Our people are consuming more foods, live in better homes, earning more money, enjoy better services in every area, and out children's examination results have progressed positively. If idiots like you want to be a billionare ($G)in less than a decade, please vote for the PNC in 2011. They will makes us all Mugabe style billionaires. |

Thank God for the PPP. Guyana would have been worst than zimbabwe if the FOOLS were still in control!!!Remember Kabaka used to take Lessons from Mugabe and other African Dimwits.

So it's been 28 years since he has been running the affairs of Zimbabwe. It's seems like his gov't won't go beyond 28. Do you see any parallels??? |
