When Burnham nationalized the Sugar, Bauxite mining and the Manganese mining, many black men with GCE, Bachelors etc all got positions as managers, executives, supervisors etc. It was truly the heyday for the blackman. He never ran a business in his life and all of a sudden he was thrust into a multi million dollar operation where he had to meet international trade quotas. We all know what happened Big Grin

My maternal grandfather recalls with a certain degree of bitterness that he was outranked in DEMBA after nationalization by a semi-literate dude carrying the same certificate that he had but couldn't remember the name of a single instructor from the school. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

With that being said, Demba was managed by highly qualified managers and engineers who were already held senior management position before nationalization.
The only outsiders who were given senior positions were Haslyn Parris,a highly qualified research economist and Pat Thompson who was a civil servant and diplomat.

Bonus,

What does race have to do with it? There are Indians who screwed up during the PNC era and are screwing up even now under the PPP!

It's about the mind, not the skin color or race!

You are not even close to reality. By now I would think you would know how I write. And even if the above you assume is not me,it is no where close to PPG.

Bonus, serving in a sensitive nonracial position here Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin....I must not quote that word that you used. Actually I strongtly condemn your usuage of the "n" word. I will however state that the gentleman in question was of Afro-Guyanese origins.

D2, you are quick to make judgement on others without facts. If you so believe, then you should also be checked out for multiple personality.

Why don't you apply those grey cells to thinking before you speak. I asked Sunil if he saw multiple IP since Bonus is expressing himself in very contrasting literary styles which if yuo had an iota of sense you would have noticed. I have not concluded that he is or he is not. Like you he may have a few distinct personalities residing in his skull and so able to do as he do naturally. The only difference is yours are all on the slow side.

Let me make it simple. Perhaps Bonus is good at distracting your better judgement since some believe he is PPG, he is making it abvious. Why the long story?

Sometimes BONUS is precise in his postings and sometimes all over the place. Split personality? Two individuals? Or deliberate? The man is like Peeping Tom! Big Grin
