North American Airlines will discontinue international scheduled service to Lagos, Accra and Georgetown on May 20, 2008.

Dear NAAlert member,

You may be aware of North American Airlines' announcement that it will discontinue scheduled service between the United States and the cities of Lagos,Nigeria; Accra, Ghana; and Georgetown, Guyana.

It was a difficult decision, especially in light of the continuing support we have received from the traveling public and the governments in these markets and we regret that economic conditions now force us to bring these flights to an end.

Until May 20, our courteous staff, excellent service and great deals on airfare will continue uninterrupted, so don't put off planning your trip with us...
We have tremendously enjoyed serving you and thank you for your loyalty to us.

dunno

Depends on how you view the glass of half milk.
It can also be said that Delta will be the next to reap the profits off the route and leave when it had enough. No mileage points, bonus, etc for we the poor guyanese ... jus dem making the profits and LEAVE.
