The PNC knew full well what they did and knew that any attempt to uncover PPP violence agianst PNC supporters would have also uncovered their own violence. And unlike you they wouldnt have been able to scream that its another topic.

Notable is the PPPs reluctance to get into this. For the same reasons I am sure. Would it have been devastating for you to find out that people who you adore might have been actively involved, or at least aware of specific plans of PYO instigated violence.

So both the PPP and the PNC have no reason to open this topic up for scrutiny because both know that they are equally guilty.

Now whether you may chose to admit it or not there were many other acts of Indian violence against Africans and even Odeen Ishmael in his summary history of Guyana acknowledges this fcat. The man is unashamedly PPP biased and yet even he admits to this fact so what does that make you.....a liar or a racist. Take your pick.

I see you wish me to accept as a fact a letter written by a man when there is no proof that this man exists or if he does, whether he wrote that letter but........you refuse to accept as a fact what every honest Guyanese historian, and indeed anybody who was around in the early 60s knows that Africans and Indians attacked, killed, abused each other and destroyed one anothers property. And that each act of savagery was "justified" by previous attacks by the other side.

So why cant you accept the FACT that there were many incidents in 1964 when Indians attacked and killed Africans including women, children and old people? And in 1961 after winning the election PPP supporters also assaulted and insulted Africans and boasted about what would happen to black people.

If I must accept Mr Nedd even though w edont know who he is or if he wrote that letter then accept the facts above.
