I think it arrogant of you to question whether or not I am only empowered to speak on the Moseley issue. Invariably, however, arrogance has a way of being a prelude to subjectivism, nothingness, and gross inaccuracies. Eat you heart out with the following: Posted to Guyana Chronicle, Stabroek News, and Kaieteur News ......................................... Dear Editor/S Most Government Ministers arguments are sound and supportive of the Governing PPP/C. Duplicitous politicians arguments are what we need to be aware of. Meaning that their arguments can be read in two ways. I do not believe that the PPP has anything to fear from a Freedom of Information Bill and as such I see no reason as to why Prime Minister Sam Hinds would seek to say that Guyana is not ready for Freedom of Information Bill as yet. Saying that the Bill is inevitable but not right for these times is ludicrous and I ask Mr Hinds to support the passage of this Bill unless you are prepared to suspend the Guyana Constitution and declare a state of emergency. You do not tell us Guyanese WHEN Guyana is ready for the Freedom of Information Bill. WE TELL YOU. Right here right now, Guyana is ready for the Freedom of Information Bill and I encourage Raphael Trotman and Khemraj Ramjattan to proceed cautiously and openly with this Bill so that it can be passed in Parliament. But proceed they must. This Bill is not going to be left to the whims of Politicians that are scared to have their actions analysed. The AFC needs to use its "Cabinet" to get the PPP Ministers on-board in an open process. This Bill will be openly debated and not left to "handshakes in the dark" (which is what Freedom of Information is about)! It is about transparency and accountability and as such it should not be presented in a "hidden" manner, or closeted manner, but openly debated in public so that ALL Guyanese will be able to see who are supportive of the Freedom of Information Bill. This will enable us to understand which politicians has tendencies to act against the spirit of Guyana Constitution. Those that support this Bill will show that they want Guyanese to enjoy their cherished FREEDOM. There is nothing to stop the debate about the Freedom of Information Bill and before this Bill is presented to Parliament rest assured that people are going to want it to be clarified by countries that support Freedom of the Individual as well as it may be sent to the UN for their analysis as well as to other Democratic Countries for them to comment upon. We, Guyanese, are going to ask every Government Minister to support our Freedom by passing this Bill. There are going to be things that may need to be re-examined but these can be pointed out by the UN or any other Democratic Country and as such I see no reason as to WHY the Government cannot proceed to get this Bill through Parliament. I encourage the AFC to proceed to get the Private Sector on-board starting with the contractors who bid for Government contracts, lawyers, banks and the media. Then divide the workload by letting the various Chambers of Commerce get the rest of the Private Sector on-board. Yours Faithfully Sean Adams |

Miss Adanna don't get haughty with me. You may turn me on sweetheart. Now tell us why after sixteen years in power the PPP has not tabled a FOIA? Please no letters to the Editor. We want to hear words uttered from your sexy lips. |

It's really funny. You seem to have blinkers when it comes to gender identity, or it may be gender confusion. Read Erikson's eight stages of man. It's clear you are at the integrity versus despair stage. Study these eight stages; they will help you understand your gender identity and avoid gender confusion. |

Adanna my dearest So nice to hear from you. Must admit sometimes I have difficulty recognizing you during daylight hours especially when you wear clothing. That pair of pumps makes your derrière look positively tempting. But you know that. Unfortunately, I must hasten to add before I am consumed by your charms that your comments related to gender are given significant weight on the forum. It is not often we get a political prostitute who has spent years spreading her legs voicing her opinion(s) on gender issues. As such, no one denies you are the authority on this subject. Hence, let's seize the day, would you care to elaborate a bit on the gender identity of Baby Kong, his consorts Manni, Roops et al? Please feel free to use any conceptual framework of womanhood to present your response. With tender love and kisses ... As usual anxiously awaiting your sweet nothings. |

President acted in accordance with traditions
I write to strongly support President Jagdeo in his defence of the dignity and honour of the Presidency of the Republic of Guyana by revoking the OP press credentials of Mr. Gordon Moseley, Guyana’s premiere pseudo journalist. By acting to distance the Office of the President from those whose conduct would pollute its atmosphere of decorum and statesmanship, President Jagdeo has acted in accordance with the finest customs and traditions of Western liberal democracy. What kind of a holder of this, the highest office in the land, would President Jagdeo be if he had permitted Mr. Moseley’s abuses and degradations to go forth with impugnity? Our Presidency is not merely another political office of the State. It is the inner sanctum of our temple to democracy, the embodiment of that which is best of the Guyanese people, our young nation’s hopes, dreams, and ultimately the guiding hand of its destiny. This is what Mr. Moseley has attacked. He has not and continues to not limit himself to critiques of government policy and analysis of the same so as to contribute usefully to the public debate on the issues of the day, as all bona fide journalists do daily across the globe. Instead, he takes it upon himself to launch unwarranted and unjustified attacks upon the institution of the Presidency itself. If Mr. Moseley wishes to continue to enthrall his audience (all five persons) with untruths and old fashioned nancy stories, then by all means he can do so from a safe distance from the Presidency, our Republic’s constitutional and moral centre. He does not need to be in the environment that is the object of his bilious ridicule. I am not an attorney by training, however, contrary to the public protestations of Mr. Moseley I am not aware that not receiving a standing invitation to State House is a violation of the entrenched fundamental rights of a citizen of Guyana or of the press. However, if the learned journalist Mr. Moseley feels he has a case of substance then he may feel free to seek redress all the way to the Caribbean Court of Justice, another of President Jagdeo’s achievements for Guyana. Otherwise, on behalf of the public too preoccupied with earning a living and developing Guyana to waste time on intellectual lilliputians, I ask Mr. Moseley to return to his day job after his fifteen minutes of newfound “fame” is up. Finally, I thank you, Sir, for this opportunity to articulate the position of the majority segment of the population who understand what this matter is truly about and wish to register their unqualified support for the strong actions taken by President Jagdeo in defence of the high office to which he has been duly elected to by us, the people of this land.
