Joe Pries believes he has found a segment of Charlotte real estate that is recession-proof.

Three years ago, Pries, 36, began buying three- and four-bedroom condominiums within walking distance of UNC Charlotte.

Now, his Rampside Properties LLC owns 41 condo units

So Terry, since you put this in the political slot we can deduct that it was a political decision to lay the man off, rather than one of economics Roll Eyes .

Terry likes to play politics. He is a fan of Guyana's two dictators-Burnham and Jagdeo. Wink

Are we to deduct from this that had he been Guyanese, and/or had he not been full of big ideas, he would not have been laid off? This is a gross indictment of how Guyanese workers are viewed in your company dunno.

His wife, Jessica, does the paperwork, including collecting $52,000 in rents and paying 41 mortgages each month. Their monthly net: about $12,500.

so how much was he earning at the time he was laid off? Big Grin

The man was making around $75 + a bonus of around $30. But that 41 mortgage payment looks a bit threatening Big Grin
