most poor countries are poor because of bag government. God has nothing to do with our failures or successes here either. one gives thanks to their god, whatever they conceives him/her/it to be by being the best they can be.

That is not the point . The lending institutions and the federal govt have not addressed how they will fix the subprime issue which is the core of the financial problem . The subprime problem surfaced since early summer 2007 , we are now in fall 2008 , a year and a half now and no one has done shyte about resolving the issue.

I said last September 2007 that lenders should have reduced mortgage principles by 20% , reduce the interest rates to the current prevailing mortgage rates , restructure retailor mortgages so that people can stay in the homes rather than foreclose , depress the market further and eat the 20% loss rather than allow the shyte to pile up and everyone go under .

It is still not too late to do this but there is no forthcoming leadership on this matter . Funny , I heard George Soros who was wrong on the economy earlier this year now saying the same thing I said september 2007.

IT is commonsense , it is practical , it is better than having economies implode . I have many good excellent tenants in NY and when they face financial hardship I cut their rents by as much as 20% to keep them because they are good tenants , because I do not wish to sustaon vacancy losses . It is basic dollars and $ense .

I have repeatedly sent my suggestion and recommendations to the Obama campaign but no one seems to be biting on the suggestion . I am not the only one who makde these suggestions , many have , and the more I look at it the more sense it makes but then , who said folks who run financial institutions and govt are smart ?

I also recommended that mortgage portfolis be examined and investigated and lenders and mortgage brokers who submitted falsified applications be charged , tried and jailed , unless people go to jail over this fiasco the consumer remains at risk .

When the subrpime was introduced I warned my agents they were not to sell this product to consumers some got upset because they felt they would lose from big commissions , I gave them marching orders . The fact of the matter is if real estate professionals contribute to such fiascos then where is the ethics in the practice of the industry ? I believe we have an obligation to the consumer .

I am continuing my crusade and I hope lots of people go to jail over this fiasco .

Chief.

Speak for yourself.

I also apologise for the comments I made about you in the past. I now understand your confusion. You don't even know your father. This must be a tramatic experience and cause you to say these things

Dudes in time of crises it is not wise to panic but to be calm , cool and collective . Understand the problem , know the root causes and address how to resolve them . The doomsday preachers wont help but add to the crises . America has been here before and overcame it , it has the strength , courage and know how to do it again . This is a time for confidence building not throwing ones hands in the air . The political , social and economic structures in the USA are old and are not being effective in this new world order , things have got to change . We know regulation is imperative , we know technocrats who are supposed to be the custodians of regulation will be subject to political influences , the system is not perfect and never will but we must be vigilant and watchful for events like these . The subprime market was a ticking bomb, no one was making loud enough noise about it but it not just the subprime market , there are a host of other situations which made for a 'perfect storm'.
If you guys can add to the solution then just dont spread fear and panic .
