I'm trying to determine the origin of Black Bush Polder villages...Yakasari, Mibicuri and Lesbeholden. Anyone knows?

Freak, the pic of the Amerindian village brings back such wonderful memories for me.
I visited one of these many many moons ago at the end of the Mahaica river.....they called it "mission". it was several hours ride in a 'launch' to get there. but it was worth the trip....it was breathtaking!!! |

What about Johanna? Sounds like a latino talking to judge joe brown. Also, for a while there was a new settlement called "zambia' don't know if it is still here. |

ayou can talk all you want, but the bestest places in Guyana was Rose Hall Town. Why so? because its definition was rather elastic...included part of Miss Phoebe. Plus there were unguarded "farms" at the back where one could indulge one's cravings for theif coconut and mango among other things. Laker: I getting old waiting for this theef goat you know. I hope you aint pulling a sudan on the creature.
