Selma Sukhu ( Carpen ) passed away in India last week whilst she was on a tour with a group of friends....She was a resident of Richmond Hills, Queens, NY and was originally from Hampshire Village, Corentyne, Berbice......


Selma leaves to mourn her husband of many years, Jagat Sukhu , two children Shawn Sukhu and Chandra Persaud.....five grand children, brothers Jerry ( deceased) , Terry, William and sister Leila.......parents were Soloman and Ivy Carpen ( both deceased ).......also left to mourn are uncles, aunts,cousins,in-laws,neighbours and many friends......


Viewing will be at Leo Kearns Funeral Home on Monday January 11th, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm and cremation on Tuesday January 12th, 2010.......
