Oy yall: when the Qur'an is recited as part of prayer, or recitation, it is fine to do so with melody. A dua qua dua is however done without tajweed...just a point...
"wa idhaa sa'alaka ibaadi annee fa'inne qaribun ujeebu da'wata daa'ie idha da'aan.'

U 2 wutliss. But Mits know what is tajweed...just as a layperson THINKS he is singing a bhajan, but a specialist KNOWS the rules for pronounciation, so too it is with tajweed.
