If a tree fall in the jungle and no one hears it's sound, does it make a sound? Sure it does, since sound is real while hearing is perceived.

According to the Holy Prophet, there are certain steps that must be taken before bringing infromation public. It must consider the effects on both the offender as well as the offended. It must be varified to ensure that even the perceived offender is not unjustly accused. We Muslims undertand that and we should do whatever possible to ensure that we do not become the offenders in our actions.

However, once information has become public, we need to deal with it truthfully. It does not matter if the person posting it has ulterior motives. That person may be prejudice but others in the arena may not and our response would serve them better as well as protect our own soul from the same vice that we seek to expose. If nothing else, by standing firmly for justice, we would demonstrate to our fellow Guyanese that we do not support the nonsense that some do in the name of this noble religion. If we keep that feeling to ourselves, we would fail to create that trust that is necessary today in the Muslim world. Nobody hears when they are not listening.
