What is there to comprehend? Are you speaking in riddles? I ask you a simple question...damn. Sex ain't a bad thingy you know....I am sure you indulge too. And I am not disappointed that you are uptight. I am disappointed that you can't answer a simple question in a straight forward manner.

a lot of islamic writing talked about sexual gratification in heaven.

i hate when that happens. you get a couple guys together and they decide [at that time and place] what would be good for community in terms of "control"....these things are not true.....INTERPRETATION is incorrect.

If 72 flappin virgin bin ah heaven fuh all them mussleman dem - you tink dem rass would be here on earth???? all them muslim woman woulda done turn christian or hindu or another religion for sheer lack of muslim men.

Quran is simple logic. LOGIC. that statement about 72 virgins waiting for a man in heaven - hand and foot - rass that sounds like sheeer nancy story.

now why cant any of the muslims here just answer that way?

The muslims here cannot answer that way because it would prove that the koran has errors in it. Flies in the face of their claim that the koran is the words of god, doesn't it? How can an omniscent god make mistakes?.

FYI the koran also claimed that man was formed from a blood clot, the earth is flat and that alexander the great lived to a ripe old age (he died at 32). It is nothing but an old wives tale concocted by a man with ulterior motives to gain control over a pagan society.

A LEADING Muslim cleric's recent sermon, translated this week, blaming women for inviting rape through their choice of clothes and make-up, brings to a head in Australia the titanic collision between conservative Islam and modernity.
Whether this collision can be reconciled is one of the key issues for the West today. The issue is far bigger than Australian Mufti Sheik Taj Din al-Halali's preoccupation with rapes cases involving Muslim men.
One of its bloodiest offspring was the ritual murder in Amsterdam two years ago of Theo van Gogh, the Dutch film-maker killed by a Muslim fanatic for his role in Submission, the short film he made with anti-Muslim activist and then Dutch MP Ayaan Hirsi Ali.

My dear, please don't speak to me about translations unless you are prepared to address the question I have posed for the last 2 weeks and which each of you has evaded (I believe you referred me to god himself. I tried but he said I wasn't nice enough to you and sent me back). I repeat - why would an omniscent god deliver a book to mankind which can be understood only in arabic? Is an omniscent god unable to keep his message uncorrupted and SO open to interpretation and the resulting chaos?. That my dear, is the REAL question. Not hadiths and memorization and bickering over words and syllables and who has a phd in arabic and who can write arabic graffiti. However let me not digress from your questions

1. In one of your Suras (I believe 18) it speaks of a 2 horned one largely believed by muslims to be alexander the great. Others say it was a king of syria. The encyclopedia of islam said it was alexander. Your scholars agreed. Who am I to differ from them?. Anyway, it's all moot because the verse goes on to say that this person (alexander, king of syria or spongebob squarepants) witnessed the sun setting in a muddy pool. Not quite scientific fact is it? So either allah is not all knowing or there is significant error in the koran and thus it has no credibility.

2. Many references in teh koran to the earth being spread like a carpet. From my recollection another verse refers to the earth as egg shaped (which it is not).

Mind you, both the above were pagan beliefs in Mo's time. Nothing godly about it at all.
