FYI the koran also claimed that man was formed from a blood clot, the earth is flat and that alexander the great lived to a ripe old age (he died at 32). It is nothing but an old wives tale concocted by a man with ulterior motives to gain control over a pagan society.

can you point out to me where in Quran it mentions "alexander", not the interpretation...the actual text.....along with that can you also provide the text for the earth is "flat"...please and thank you :)

1. In one of your Suras (I believe 18) it speaks of a 2 horned one largely believed by muslims to be alexander the great. Others say it was a king of syria. Anyway, it's all moot because the verse goes on to say that this person (alexander, king of syria or spongebob squarepants) witnessed the sun setting in a muddy pool. Not quite scientific fact is it? So either allah is not all knowing or there is significant error in the koran and thus it has no credibility.

2. Many references in teh koran to the earth being spread like a carpet. From my recollection another verse refers to the earth as egg shaped (which it is not).

Mind you, both the above were pagan beliefs in Mo's time. Nothing godly about it at all.
