We are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ
For it is God’s power of salvation
It’s to everyone
To everyone that believes it
And it’s to everyone
To everyone that receives it
We shall have everlasting life

We are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ
For it is God’s power of salvation
It’s to everyone
To everyone that believes it
Oh to everyone
To everyone that receives it
Oh we shall have everlasting life

God’s word – God’s word is a light unto my pathway
His word - His word is a lamp unto my feet
God’s word – God’s word is guaranteed to set you free
Set the captive free to live eternally

God’s word - His word is healing for every nation
His word – God’s word is power unto salvation
God’s word – God’s word came all the way from glory
To set the captive free and make the blind to see

Oh, we are not ashamed, we are not ashamed
Of the gospel of Jesus Christ
For we have everlasting life

We are not ashamed; we are not ashamed
We are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ
For we have everlasting life

the teachings of J. The problem is that there is no consensus on the quiddity of certain basic problems: claim to divinity. That is the core. And 'from jesus to christ" is just one book the explores the metamorphosis from man to god..all after his death...the concept of grace....there is no the issue of shame..but of establishing what was and what was not. The christian sects have not done this. Look at the Jesus seminar.
And look at the responses you are getting..Fu real on the other thread...all regurgitations of internet garbage that rehash what we have already debunked.
What do ALL agree upon: that he walked on earth, that he was a person of peace. Beyond that there is too much in dispute, NOT among Muslims and Christians, but among CHRISTIAN SECTS themselves. ANy objective observer will note that the teaching purporting to come from him are actually Paul's. ON top of which..CHRISTIAN scholars aver that they can only vouch for 6 or 7 of the letters attributed to Paul...imagine a case where you say that you KNOW some of the evidence is manufactured? do you make any statement of clear cut ideas? Especailly when ALL we see contradicts the the basic concept of Abrahamic monotheism, established by MOSES whose law Jesus came to obey?

I Believe In Jesus
(Marc Nelson)

I believe in Jesus
I believe He is the Son of God
I believe He died and rose again
I believe He paid for us all

And I believe He’s here now
(I believe that He’s here)
Standing in our midst
Here with the power to heal now
(With the power to heal)
And the grace to forgive

I believe in You Lord
I believe You are the Son of God
I believe You died and rose again
I believe You paid for us all

And I believe You’re here now
(I believe that You’re here)
Standing in our midst
Here with the power to heal now
(With the power to heal)
And the grace to forgive

Forty days and forty nights
thou wast fasting in the wild;
forty days and forty nights
tempted, and yet undefiled.

Should not we thy sorrow share
and from worldly joys abstain,
fasting with unceasing prayer,
strong with thee to suffer pain?

Then if Satan on us press,
Jesus, Savior, hear our call!
Victor in the wilderness,
grant we may not faint or fall!

Note: Likewise, Muslims also keep the fast a whole month.

Beloved, let us love one another,
For love is of God
And everyone that loveth
Is born of God and knoweth God.
He who loveth not, knoweth not God,
For God is love!

So beloved let us love one another

His strength is perfect - Cece Winans

I can do all things
Through Christ who gives me strength
But sometimes I wonder what He can do through me
No great success to show
No glory of my own
Yet in my weakness He is there to let me know

Chorus
His strength is perfect when our strength is gone
He'll carry us when we can't carry on
Raised in his power the weak becomes strong
His strength is perfect
His strenght is perfect

We can only know
The power that He holds
When we truly see how deep our weakness goes
His strength in us begins
When ours comes to an end
He hears our humble cry and proves again

(chorus)

PSALMS 118:24

This is the day, this is the day
That the Lord has made, that the Lord has made
We will rejoice, we will rejoice
And be glad in it, and be glad in it

This is the day that the Lord has made
We will rejoice and be glad in it
This is the day, this is the day
That the Lord has made!

ALL PRAISE TO OUR REDEEMING LORD
Charles Wesley

All praise to our redeeming Lord,
Who joins us by His grace;
And bids us, each to each restored,
Together seek His face.

He bids us build each other up;
And, gathered into one,
To our high calling’s glorious hope,
We hand in hand go on.

The gift which He on one bestows,
We all delight to prove;
The grace through every vessel flows,
In purest streams of love.

Even now we think and speak the same,
And cordially agree;
Concentered all, through Jesus’ Name,
In perfect harmony.

We all partake the joy of one;
The common peace we feel;
A peace to sensual minds unknown,
A joy unspeakable.

And if our fellowship below
In Jesus be so sweet,
What height of rapture shall we know
When round His throne we meet!

Have a blesséd day!

Don't try to tell me my God is dead

Don't try to tell me my God is dead,
He woke me up this morning.
Don't try to tell me God is dead,
I spoke to Him today.
He's the rock of my salvation
Set the captive free
And all I want to know about is the man from Galilee.

Christ is risen! Hallelujah!

Christ is risen! Hallelujah!
Risen our victorious Head!
Sing His praises! Hallelujah!
Christ is risen from the dead!

Gratefully our hearts adore Him,
As His light once more appears,
Bowing down in joy before Him,
Rising up from grief and tears,

Christ is risen! Hallelujah!
Risen our victorious Head!
Sing His praises! Hallelujah!
Christ is risen from the dead!

Christ is risen! all the sadness
Of His earthly life is o’er,
Through the open gates of gladness
He returns to life once more;

Death and hell before Him bending,
He doth rise, the Victor now,
Angels on His steps attending,
Glory round His wounded brow.

Christ is risen! all the sadness
Of His earthly life is o’er,
Through the open gates of gladness
He returns to life once more.

Christ is risen! henceforth never
Death or hell shall us enthrall;
We are Christ’s, in Him forever
We have triumphed over all;

All the doubting and dejection
Of our trembling hearts have ceased,
’Tis His day of resurrection!
Let us rise and keep the feast.

Christ is risen! henceforth never
Death or hell shall us enthrall;
We are Christ’s, in Him forever
We have triumphed over all.

Alive, alive, alive forevermore
My Jesus is alive, alive forevermore
He is alive, alive, alive forevermore
My Jesus is alive

Sing hallelujah, sing hallelujah
My Jesus is alive forevermore
Sing hallelujah, sing hallelujah
My Jesus is alive!

JESUS LOVES ME
Jesus loves me! This I know,
For the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong;
They are weak, but He is strong.

Refrain
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.

Jesus loves me! This I know,
As He loved so long ago,
Taking children on His knee,
Saying, “Let them come to Me.”

Refrain

Jesus loves me still today,
Walking with me on my way,
Wanting as a friend to give
Light and love to all who live.

Refrain

Jesus loves me! Loves me still,
Though I’m very weak and ill,
That I might from sin be free
Bled and died upon the tree.

Refrain

Jesus loves me! He who died
Heaven’s gate to open wide;
He will wash away my sin,
Let His little child come in.

Refrain

Jesus loves me! He will stay
Close beside me all the way;
Thou hast bled and died for me,
I will henceforth live for Thee.

Refrain

Bible: For a Jew, the bible is simply the book. But it only refers to what christians know as "old testament."
A Jew...would not accept the NT as part of the bible.

True SM. But here is the catch: the OT does not need the NT for authentication. The latter does need the former, hence the appending of it to the HB (Hebrew Bible), and the seeking to use the term "bible" for both.

BTW: my points about BIble being what is or what is not...just simply to note that we should use terms that are absolutely neutral. When referring to Christian scriptures, let us say "Christian Testament". Of course one may point out to me that, for christians, this includes the Hebrew Bible, and that who cares if the Jews don't accept the Christian works. That is not the point..the point is that in todays terminology sensitive milieu, one tries to use such terms that are neutral, and do not lend themselves to peripheral debates...a ploy that is often used on our religion forum.

Jungle Lady is frightening people, threatening them them they will go a hot hot place (hell) and burn up if you do not take to Jesus. Just imagine someone who will burn you up if you believe in such type. This is a blatant trap! Frightening people that when rigor mortis set in upon them they will be sent to fiery place after they have been set in
