Christianity is religion that must woo and win souls to christ . Their sights therefore must be set on those who seem pagan and in need of conversion to the 'only true and living god " . Tell them to return from whence they came , they scream persecution ... Retaliate with violence they become martyrs and long suffering bigots who pray to the 'Lord' to forgive their enemies . It is a no win situation but my advice to Hindus and other religions who are faced with the onslought of 'Christian soldiers' , is to strengthen their own base through education , social work , and simplification of rituals .

Thanks for sharing that quote ICIP. There are still many people out there who try to denegrate religions different from their own.

You remind me of the woman on the train who hollered at me the occupants that the world is coming to an end and we must seek the lord. This disrespect must not go unfettered. Christian soldiers constantly disrespect people and their beliefs in the name of "harvesting souls.".

This is a public board and what you post here is offensive to many of us that use our brains! Show me where on this board that I opened a thread and told people that I am praying for them or that I gave you or anyone else permission to pray for me? Where did I frighten people with hell if they do not turn to God? Why do you feel that everywhere you go you have to shove your beliefs down people's throat? You expect me to stay quiet but I will not until you faith based people start keeping your faith private and/or in your churches!

Why do blacks folks always feel that everywhere they go they have to shove your beliefs down people's throat. You expect me to stay quiet but I will not until you faith based people start keeping your faith private!

Let me ask this very simply - do you see African traditions taking root around the world? I mean there are African - black people living all around the world right? So where did you drum up your theory? It is called the gospel for a reason - we are commanded to share the good news. It is not my job to change your belief if you have any - simply to share mine. You are not compelled to listen or to believe, so there is no need for you to get so defensive and lash out.
