Assalam O Alaikum
Let's give praise and thanks to Almighty Allah for saving our lives to see yet another blessed day of Youmal Jummah.

We are in the middle of winter and here up north especially the snow and bad weather has really made it dangerous for folks to commute, so please pay special attention to your personal safety whether you walk, drive or any which way you choose to move around. For the folks who are living in warmer climate especially Florida and Guyana do enjoy the sunshine.

In the winter months we spend more time indoors so let's make use of that time to catch up on some reading.Let's not forget that the first word that was revealed to our prophet by Almighty Allah was "Ikra ' , which means read. The Glorious Quran and the Hadiths are very good reading material, if we can dedicate 30 mins every day to catch up on the scriptures then by the time summer and Ramadan comes around we will be in good shape spiritually and hopefully physically as well. At the same time support your local jamaats and ensure that classes are held both for youngsters and adults , get involved for everyday we are not only getting older but we are moving towards the grave.
Rasoolulah (pbuh) reminded us to make use of our youth before we get old, make use of your health before we become sick, make use of our money before it's gone and moreso make good use of our time before death strikes us.
