I'm sure they will so appreciate a visit. May Allah (swt) reward you for this and grant them patience. Many Masjids are collecting funds to assist them - perhaps you can initiate a collection at your Masjid if not done already.

The masjid I attend on a daily basis is about 90% Africans and we have an average of 300 to 400 people at every sallat.Iam positive a collection will be made today.

tragic fire in the BRONX.

MAMADOU SOUMARIE, a city Cab Driver, tragically lost his wife,
Mariam Se Bibi, 42, his son Djibril, 3, and son and daughter twins
of six months.

MOUSA MAGASSA, who was on a business trip to the native MALI, lost 5
children ages 11 , 7 , 6 , 3 , and 1.

Three other children are critical an a Bronx hospital.

We pray that Allah have MERCY on the deceased; We pray for patience
and fortitude for the survivors.

THIS IS INDEED A TERRIBLE TIME OF HARDSHIP FOR THESE FAMILIES AND
OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH THEM.

AT JUMA PRAYER at Darul Quran, Westbury Mosque and all other mosques
of Long Island a special prayer will be said and an appeal will be
made for special funds for these effected families.

I appeal to all to be generous to help the victims of this terrible
tragedy.

Nine members of the two families, including eight children, died in a fire in the Bronx late Wednesday.

Earlier this evening I met the father Moussa Magassa and other relatives of the children who perished in the fire.Bro Moussa and all the executives from the masjid expressed thier gratitude at the support they are recieving,they said the police and city officials are cooperating.Governor Spitzer is schedule to visit the family amnd members from the Mali community on Sun at 10AM at the mosque.
Funeral prayers are set for Mon at 1pm.
