Since it is friday, let me send a citation from the Q for those who think among my cofullapersons:
"Amongst them are illiterates who do not know the Scripture except through and whim, and they
do nothing but conjecture. Woe be unto them for that which their hands write and woe be unto them for that which they thereby earn."
explanation: None needed. Study, read, specialize, then talk. Otherwise, be circumspect about pontificating.
Next cite: "debate them with that which is better"...
Interpretation: calling people names only shows the nastiness within the caller. And it shows that you cannot approach the issue itself but are resorting to the infantile idea of insulting the thinker. Problem is that many times the thinker can rebut on a personal level with insults that would totally dehumanize the insulter. But the irony is that, while he may initially engage in it to prove a point, his sense of ethics wins out and he has to stick to the Qur'anic advice and focus on the debate itself, even though the guyanese in him wants to erupt. Sigmund Freud would have had a nice time analyzing these words and me. Nuff said.

Nah, I know where the masjid is. I lived about 3 blocks away from there. When I went to primary school I was in class with the son of the masjid's caretaker. I don't remember his name now.
