Why don't we let a judge decide? Threat? My family knows ZA. That is all I will say as I will not sink to the level. ANd to rub my qualification in further so that you really know who I am: it is Docta to you. NOt that it matters as I assume you will insist on using the other designation..but I just want to rub it in...after all...you ain't.

Once there was a little pissant. It saw the son of the mighty Ganesh walking in the jungle.ANd all the creatures of the jungle saw that Ganesh's son was somewhat like his dad. With his mighty trunk, he could clear the path. ANd when he saw Jihadists who said that the best way to clear the jungle was by sending bombs and destroying the vegetation and other creatures, Ganesh's son simply showed that the trees could be gone around, the bushes could be moved, the other creatures could be asked.
And the pissant was mad. And he tried to argue with Ganesh's picknee. The picknee peed upon the pissant. Now the pissant was somewhat happy because as dharma will tell you, a pissant thrives upon piss. But it was a public humiliation. And so it started to attempt to fight back. By saying that the piss was a threat to its existence. And that it was so innocent. And the son of the mighty ganesh? It went on, twined its trunk around its beautiful, sweet, sexy, JS, and ignored the pissant. It is said that the sound of their lovemaking..actual and cyber..still drives the pissant crazy. It is said that the pissant is still busy trhing to find a satellite dish that will allow their copulation to provide him some inspiration. Amin. AAAAAMIIIIIN. My parable, since today, I chose to follow he who thought he was my dadi's picknee. |

Actually, it's the Saudis. The SA Fiqh council declared that Ahmadies do not subscribe to Islamic tenets and may be considered non-muslims. |

You know this Qadiani thing can be quite interesting since Muslims do not believe in any prophets or Messengers after Muhammad. Our emininent, his excelency stated that Muslim is reserved only to the followers of Muhammad. I wonder how he sees Qadiani? Are they Big M or Small m since they believe in a prophet after Muhammad. gotta run. |

I notice that the issue of an ahmadi being considered a disbeliever/kafir by an individual has been evaded. Incidentally, it is not the SA only. The Pakistani government too. This is why my student bariza umar (check internet) got the constitution..as well as a doctor here..I forgot his name--changed. They refused to write their religion on the passport application in Pak.

Forgot...my view, despite the fact that I normally disregard questions from the pissant is that it is not for anyone of us to judge who is a muslim and who is not. As long as a person makes the shahadah, s/he is. The details of what constitutes "Islam" is made up on man-fabricated constructs. If the prophet were alive, the talibans and their ilk would have considered him a heretic most likely.

Predestination. Jesus coming back. blamelessness of the companions. Antichrist at the end of time. Immutability of quran. Non-Islam of Abu Talib. Go chomp on that. |

Denial of Christians and jews and hindus etc the bliss of heaven. Denial of women their rights as human beings. Naskh. Stoning the adulterer (from the Torah by the way!). I threw in some there just for the hell of it...building a temple on the holy site of the Jews. building mosques on hindu temple sites. Passing laws that made non-Muslim buildings of worship, if they fell, could not be reconstructed. Oh...you did not know that? Go read your fiqh books. Then when you done, which will be in about twenty years...as the fiqh books are numerous...explain who made Muhammad the greatest of human beings. Which verse of the Quran made him that? Simple. |

No malice intended here: a few weeks ago, someone posted an article by muqtedar khan. He talked about Fazlur Rahman. Go read his "islam". Then sachedina's "Pluralism" Then Louay Safi's book on Jihad.
