World Islamic Mission Canada announces the 15th International Milaad-un-Nabi
Conference to be held at Living Arts Centre, Square One, Mississauga on Saturday 28th July, 2007. Orginally launched by the late scholar, thinker and Muslim leader - Maulana Shah Ahamd Noorani Siddiqui RA, the Conference aims to serve two important purposes: (1) To revive amongst Muslim Canadians their love and connection for the Last and Final Messenger of Allah, and (2) to inform and educate Muslims of the important issues of the present time, as scholars have done in the past. At this year's event, Muslim scholars from all over the world will discuss the issue of "Islam and Globalization". For the first time in North America, Muslim Scholars will introduce the subject and inform the audience of the issues surrounding globalization and what are its implications, especially for Muslims. Some of the scholars attending IMC-15 include: Allama Qamar-uz-Zaman Azmi of the UK, and Shaykh Ahmed Ben Omar al-Tijani of Ghana who lives in the USA. For info call 905-257-1342. |
