Deedat is my boy. Sure he has rough edges but he learned all of it on his own. And his presentation were down to earth and humorous. Notice how at the end he said that 'we have no right to force this on you". Same way we have no right to force it on Muslims either. You can teach of the merits of it but that person has the right to do as they please because they will bae asked about it by their Lord, not us. may Allah accept Deedat into jannah.

Deedat was unmatched by the people that he debated with. One time he added 9 words into a 27 words passage from Ezekiel and even the doctor of divinity that he was debating could not pick out those nine words. You give him the words and he will tell you where it was located in the bible. He said that he learned many languages because he knew the bible substantially by memory and used it to associate words of other languages.

I have that debate on VHS. I got a ton of deedat debates. Many other folks also. But that two VHS tape sets with shorrosh is the most enjoyable. He had Shorrosh in a constant tail spin. :)

Shorrosh was absolutely vile. There was nothing christian about him. Same as walid shoebat.

I like when he made the pronouncement; "75% of the wonderful Qur'an written in my wonderful language of Arabic was stolen from the Bible"

Deedat told him to forget the 75%. He told him to just name one. Deedat don't have to wait any longer because he (deedat) is now dead. May Allah accept him into jannah.

But John Crouch from Trinity Broadcasting Network like to tell his audience that Shorrosh was a muslim turned Christian. Shorrosh on the other hand claims that he and his ancesters have always been Christians.
