Thank you GNI: Shantha Senadhara
Dear Asj & Venkat, Don't know how to, or have enough words to thank you for helping me. It is amazing when people never ever met before and unknown help each other in great detail. I "met" so many on the net encouraging me. It fills with tons of emotions in me. As we discuss here I am preparing for another Rafi Sahab number. Will let you know when it is done. With two little ones I have it is hard to find free time these days. Venkat, you are great and thanks a bunch. Finally I understood the song precisely after listening to it for ages. If I ever get my emotions in this song and close attempt I'll dedicate this song to you. You and many asked me to take singing lessons ... yes I've started and someday I'll be better. Venkat, ASJ and Amral .... I don't forget you. Thanks again ASJ & Venkat for your time invested here for me. Best Regards, Shantha Shantha has wowed us with his: Video: Ab kya misaal do: Shantha has now officially say "thank you GNI" with his other YouTube renditions of the evergreen and unforgettable "Sohani Raat" I was so haapy to mentioned to him that after some 60 years, this one is still around, and will be for the next 40; who knows? Friends I am happy to present Shantha: Suhani Raat Dhal Chuki by Shantha In the middle of the song, Shantha has expressed his "Thanks to GNI Forums" . |

Hi ASJ,
I am very surprised and felt cared for, when I saw this thread. Never expected anything in this nature. I am so lucky to found this community with lots of caring people. To me it is so unbelievable to realized that this song is 60 yrs old. Always fell in love with this every time I listened to it in legendary Rafiji's voice and wanted to try it so badly for sometime. ASJ, T_P and RQ a big thank you for listening to the song and your encouraging comments. With so many of you around me throughout the net, it is hard for me to not to stand in front of the mic at home in my bedroom and try another. Once again Thank you Oldie Fan and also members like Venkat, burden their time unselfishly to translate and helping the others. Thank you!!! With Respect Shantha |
