(Sawf News) - Producer-Director Indra Kumar (Dil, Beta, Mann and Dhamaal) will launch his daughter Shwetha in Karzzzz as Himesh Reshammiya’s leading lady. He introduced her to the press at an event Friday noon, January 25, in Andheri, Mumbai to mark the launch of the film.

Also present at the event hosted by RJ and anchor Siddharth Kannan were Subhash Ghai, Rishi Kapoor, Himesh Reshammiya, Shweta, Danny Denzongpa, Raj Babbar, Satish Kaushik, Bhushan Kumar and wife Divya Khosla Kumar.



Himesh Reshammiya and Shwetha at a press event Friday noon, January 25, in Andheri, Mumbai to mark the launch of the film.

The director of the original film, Subhash Ghai, was asked to direct the remake but declined because he was busy filming Main Yuvraj.

Filming is expected to have commenced on January 25.

The film is planned to be shot in South Africa and Kenya besides Mumbai.

The producers are aiming for a mid 2008 release.
