Pathan is a caste? I thought it was a tribe from Afghanistan, while the Hindus hold the idea of castes the Muslims hold the idea of tribes (and nations). A lot of low caste Hindus convert to islam to escape the "caste system" because Islam do not look at their caste but bunch all Indians together.

Sure no problem - but the title should be Ancestors of Jangeer (Jehangir) Khan, and not Esau Khan.

Roll Eyes Isn't Jangeer the ancestor of Esau? The J man is correct, it is ancestors of Esau, or descendants of Jangeer.

Sorry i choose to ignore you on the potlical concering air travel to guyana. Its just my opionion and experience from various carriers that i flew with. I want decency and 800 to guyana is not cheap. At least decent service and a decent sandwich; not canned food and shitty tiolets.

On my paternal (father;s side), the name Cheekhoree comes from bihar. The name has been bastardized several times from its original cheekhoree. My great grandfather Kalsingh Cheekhoree, ahir (caste) migrated to Guyana from Karagahar in the district of Shahabab, Bihar in 1891 on board the SS Sheila. He was indentured to plantation Rose Hall. Bhojpuri was his mother tongue. His father name was Mohit. At age 20 he came to Guyana. Cheekhoree was born in 1871.
