Okay, I am going to go and dig up some old albums and see what I have. Will keep you posted. |

much appreciated, as long as you don't mind that the old flicks would be part of a collection (of course credit would be given for the photos).

Forget about shia/sunni crap. If you want to study in al-sham..in damascus, I can arrange for you to do persian at the zeynabiyya in Damascus. Nice people. Crappy food, but dat is because is free. Can put u in contact with some Sunni thinkers. Not connections...just know some people. Plus my samdhins are syrians. neva met them. Don't know how dem does relate to Coolies. U know what I mean, I assume. |

I remember the cow story. Poor uncle JJ..when he first moved to Rose Hall and opened shop, them boys waited at night, and then augured their way into the kitchen, then to the story. The house had wooden walls only. Several times they hit him. Then they boys tried with his cows. But somehow, the man kept on surviving. I remember him cyar..hh965. |

Jansher: both shias and sunnis, as you know, have their sectarian nonsense. All you do is listen, stay quiet...and take what makes sense, leave that which does not. Does not pay to argue with these guys.

BK, how old do the pics have to be?
|

Chameli, anything prior to 1966 would be ideal.
I am sorry I should have included Kidmost as well. |
