I don't need no doctor by Peter Frampton and Humble Pie, this is a newer version. Framton is the singer.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoCSnZaw19A&feature=related Here's John Mayer and John Scofield doing it in Jazz. Mayer should put a bit more soul into his vocals with this tune, pretty good though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gkTF-vZ_bM Now for my fav. Here again is Humble Pie with Frampton playing lead, the singer's got some wicked range. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lxyRjzXvxo |

Here is a simple song with a wonderful guitar solo ( it is basically an E major pentatonic riff) by Perl Jam

Oi D2, You wanna buy a vowel? It's Pearl, not Perl. So, where's the other style to this song? You better come up with one in this thread or is trouble banna. |

Give a man a break......anyway....little story. In 1995, Pearl Jam was one of the first band that refused to use Ticketmaster to vend their tickets . They were the biggest band at the time and my wife was part of a group trying to break the strangle hold on ticketing in the US. Pearl Jam signed on and helped to show that one did not need to be a slave to the ticketing industry which at the time controlled all venues. Eventually, the system broke up on its own. Here is the MP3 version of Yellow ledbetter |
