2007 was an amazing celebration of Guyana in New York City For the 41st year of independence led by Felicia Persaud and the Committee to Celebrate Guyana.
Hollywood actor Sean Patrick Thomas joined the event with his family. Of course he's Guyanese American. And New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg proclaimed Saturday May 26th, 2007, ‘Guyanese Independence Day’ In New York City.
The Committee is now requesting feedback and comments to top 2007 with a gala awards next May. Please email your comments/ intention of support and any other feedback to marketing@caribpr.com
