Guyanese Soca Monarch 'MALO'

While Guyana’s Soca Monarch Marlon 'Malo' Webster did not get to showcase his abilities at the Guyana day in the USA owed to Visa denial by the embassy he did not disappoint in bordering Canada. On May 19 last he was on of the featured artiste on the Soca Storm show in Toronto Canada along side Destra, Shurwayne Winchester, Crazy, Blazer, and Barry Chandler from Jabae.

Word is that his performance at the Soca Storm on May 19 in Toronto was so hot that he is fast becoming a soca lovers’ favourite in the Canadian community. “Canada is comparing him to Trinidad’s soca sensation Machelle Montano,” says his manager Jonathan Beepat. Entertainer understands from Canada promotion sources that “owed to Malo’s second energetic performance, he is booked to come again in June 23.”

Malo first performed in Canada at the fire fete 3 a few weeks ago.
